A Day In the Life of…

Do you want to know what animals do all day? Then just ask your child. Have them imagine that he or she is a bird, tiger or an elephant or another favorite animal. Then have him or her describe a typical day in the life of an animal. Starting from the moment the animal gets up to the time it goes to sleep. You are going to have to ask some probing questions in order to get a full day’s worth of activities. You may ask questions like:

-What does the elephant eat for breakfast?
-What does the elephant play in the morning?
-What kind of work does the elephant do?
-How does the elephant get ready for bed?

After you have completed all of the activities for one full day-then switch roles and let your child ask you the questions and you give the answers.
